YOGARANI A/P MANIAM (LLM, LLB (HONS) MALAYA)

Yogarani is the founder of Yoga & Partners. Yogarani's primary area of practice is in general dispute resolution, including civil, banking and corporate litigation, company & contract laws, tort liabilities, appeals, mediation and she is equally skilled in property transactions as Yogarani chambered in Anad & Noraini under the guidance of Miss Ooi, the Partner/Head the conveyancing department of the firm at that point of time. Thereafter she gained invaluable litigation experience working with Zaid Ibrahim & Co, Shariff & Thomas, Amin Tan & Co and lastly Michael Tie & Co and she decided to set up her own practice.

Yogarani is skilled in advocacy and seen in Court conducting hearings and trials. Yogarani able to work independently from preparing the cause papers and attending Court and handling clients from her first year of practice with Zaid Ibrahim & Co. Her passion in gaining more experience in general litigation lead her to join Shariff & Thomas and Amin-Tan & Co where her great experience and commitment were recognized. Upon completion of Masters of Law in 2016, she was offered a position to be a head of litigation department in Michael Tie & Co. She was solely in charge of litigation matters and handling the clients independently until end of December of 2019, when she left to set up her own firm under the name of "Yoga & Partners" where it stands proud now.

Yogarani graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the leading university in Malaysia - University of Malaya in 2007 and she also holds Masters of Law from the University of Malaya in 2016. Yogarani was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 17th May 2007 and commenced her legal practice in Zaid Ibrahim & Co, one of the leading firm in Malaysia.

Apart from the above practice areas, Yogarani has diverse range of experience in handling family laws, especially divorce, custody of the children, spouse and children’s maintenance, matrimonial assets, as well as will, probate and letter of administration. She has fought several contested divorce matters in Courts and always safeguard her client’s rights and interests at all times.
